SXSW Game Ad for Showtime
Showtime is a major sponsor of SXSW. In 2016, they wanted to promote their new show Roadies in their SXSW GO app.
The brief was to create a memorable experience that would promote the new Roadies show, entertain conference attendees, and award prizes while they waited in long lines for speakers, concerts, and parties.
Night & Day developed the app as a whitelabel for Potion Interactive in New York. My team pitched a Tetris-style game where players try to load up as much gear as possible in a short time frame. Showtime loved the idea and even accepted our tongue-in-cheek title. The game included 9 unique, timed puzzles that increased in difficulty. After a player completed 3 levels, they were offered a chance to enter to win a pair of Bose headphones.
